We got Rosie as a days old chick in April, from a bin containing Delawares and several other breeds. We wanted a Delaware because we didn't have any white chickens in our flock. So I scooped up a fuzzy yellow fluff that became Rosie. Only as she grew it became very obvious that she's not a Delaware from her coloring and body shape. In fact, Rosie is an ideal name for her because she's so rosy colored. Funny how that works sometimes. Anyway, we have no idea what breed she actually is. She's not a Star or a Rhode Island Red (we have some of those and she looks different) and I think she's too big now to be a Cornish Bantam, which is what I thought she was up to now. Here are some pics I just took. Can anyone identify her?
