She was supposed to be an Americana but obviously isn’t. She was fully gray as a baby with a little bit of yellow on her chest. She is about 14 weeks old. Is she an Orpington? We called her the magical mystery chicken for a long time.

Here are some photos of her comb. I honestly thought all Americanas had beards and puffy cheeks like the golden chicken in the background of the original picture. She’s also pretty big compared to the others. I thought they were a more slender chicken. I’ve only had one Americana in the past. I had no idea they could be a solid color like her.What makes you thing she is not ameracauna? She does not have a single comb so that narrows it down a lot.
She has one of the ameraucana colors (blue), white skin (I can see from her toenails), absent wattles (at 14 weeks) I can't make out her eye color---not brown/red??
