What Breed Is She?

Someone just handed this chicken over to us. She doesn't have to many feathers since she is in molt and a silkie had repeatedly mounted her at her old coop.

Anyways, can you tell her breed? I am pretty sure she is a brown egg layer.

Looks like a "Production Red" (a generic hatchery bird that is red and lays lots of brown eggs). Production Reds often have Rhode Island Red or New Hampshire Red in them, so she is probably a RIR mix.

Production red, cherry egger--generic red hatchery hen. She should lay like crazy once she gets her mojo back.

Aaawww poor thing atleast she's safe now she's a production bred isa brown hen the most worst treated hen in the world( I know because I have rescued two and when I was picking em up from the processing place I saw there conditions , locked in small cages and force fed )take care of her and no she will not start laying like crazy once she gets her mojo back they only lay like that because they are given a special drug but she will lay probably 1-2eggs a day
