What breed is she?

She's my best layer, she has been laying almost every day since I've gotten her. She's also pretty much the queen bee of flock. Just can figure out what breed she is.

Looks like some sort of cochin.

looks like a Cochin. The feathered legs and body shape makes me think that, though cochins aren't known for their laying

I figured she was a Cochin but the feathers threw me off as well as the constant egg laying.

She looks like a lightly marked splash Cochin.

And, for what its worth, mine laid very well....until they went broody. And that's where the more ornamental breeds get their poor production rating, from the tendency to want to sit on eggs!

She won't sit on hers but she is very protective of them.

I agree on the splash Cochin. I've been pretty impressed how well my ladies have laid, especially I got them only to be broodies!
