Thanks guys! I got the Magpie at a bird swap here in Vermont. It's a drake and almost a year old. My grandson named him Avatar. The other crested duck in the pic is also a drake and he named him Little Dennis (Little Dennis was his imaginary friend who disappeared after he was allowed to bring the duck home from a swap

!)I have been looking everywhere for a female Magpie, can't seem to find one. I really don't want to order 6 ducklings I only want one or two females to do with him. Thinking Khaki Campbell for the female duck as she is layinhg eggs like crazy but not setting so I brought 20 eggs in and hopefully will get them in the bator after our Buff Orp and Americana chicks and Narragansett poults hatch this Wed/Thur.They will be farm mix ducks lol as I didn't get the magpie out of the mix, was hoping for cresteds, we'll play who's your daddy.
