What breed is theis turkey hen

Is it possible a turkey hen can think I am her mate because every time I set on the ground she comes up to me sets on the ground and fluffs up her feathers and spreads her feathers away from her vent and acts like she is waiting for me to mount her but I to,d her I am not ur mate there

They like to be in pairs/trios from what I've read. She's just used to doing that for the Tom, I'd say you should try to catch the Tom as well and create a turkey pen for them. I'd still say you should look for the owners of them.

Well no one noes if they were dropped off and I think they asked some of the people that live nearby if they had any and the tom is about an hour out the road from were they came from and they tryed catching him but they could get him and they went on there trip collecting garbage and then the next day they went up to try again but they could find him I will be getting another hen as soon as possible but I can't get a tom because I heard they are agreesive and I have dogs cats chickens and smaller animals that I take out side so I can't get a tom. It has to be a hen and I would like to keep them with the chickens and just carry them into there house at night because the door is to small for them to get in but since there will only be two there isn't really a rush to go and cut the hole bigger

Toms aren't all aggressive, same as not all roosters aren't all aggressive. You need to be careful keeping the turkeys with chickens... They can cause illness that only goes between the two species.

And I tryed telling them that I don't want her but I didn't want her getting hit on the road and I don't want to sell her and have her end up in someone's thanks giving diner looking for an easy meal

If you do decide to rehome just rehome her to someone as a mate for a tom, I see many people on my local Facebook backyard chickens groups willing to pay upwards of $35 for a mate. I think it shouldn't be too hard to create a bigger door for her in the future (on your coop), my knowledge on turkeys is actually pretty slim so I couldn't answer any other questions you may have about keeping her permenantly. Good luck though

Ya I might eventually build a coop for them after thinking more about it and I don't really want to rehome Ulysses I have to and if I do it will be local only I don't like shipping live birds
