If you look toward the tail the feathers are rounded =hen. If the feathers are pointed/also known as saddle feathers, it will be a Rooster.

this is an old post but these feathers you are talking about don't start to come in till the bird is 13-15 weeks of age

I think your littles are too little to sex yet. Usually with hatchery red breeds you can tell around 6 weeks old, the males have redder larger combs and thicker legs by then. So, maybe give it a few weeks and post again. Also, where did you get them from?

Since he came from a feed store and not someone's backyard he's one of the new broiler crosses such as Freedom Rangers or more likely a Dixie Rainbow dual purpose chicken originated by S & G Poultry in AL>>Google S& G Poultry and you'll see him...
