What Breed is This? Any idea where she came from?

I've had this chicken for awhile now. I have no idea where she came from, not a clue how she managed to find herself in the middle of a busy city in a commercial area. I work at Chipotle near Fort Worth and thought it was a crow, but it was a chicken! Spent weeks trying to catch her and figured we would add her to our flock since she was such a hassle. She was, after all, also a very tiny chicken. We had food, water, land, and roosters. It made sense. She's been here for several months and after a week you could really see all the orange on her. Definitely Bantam sized, but any other guesses or info?

Do you have a picture of her standing? Seeing her posture would help determine breed.

I doubt that, as both those breeds are standard sized and she’s a bantam. There are many bantam breeds with mottled (white spotted) varieties as well.

My guess is an old English game bantam mix. There are a few mottled varieties of OEGBs, such as spangled, mille fleur, and (black) mottled.

I agree. That gypsy face is very odd. Most every breed I can think of that would have that would have a comb type that would trump the single or pass on some other traits. I keep wondering if maybe some Modern Game would make the most sense but her body type is not right at all. It seems some Old English Game varieties have gypsy faces as well so maybe she's a mix of varieties even? So weird

It is odd, but gypsy face isn’t too uncommon in certain varieties (black, blue, and self blue are the ones I can think of).
