What breed is this chick, I'm thinking possible Japanese Bantam but I'm unsure.

Agreed. If it came from a hatchery then statistically Old English Game is the most likely. But like @The Moonshiner stated, it far to early to say for sure. Post pics in a few more weeks.

I don't think its a Japanese bantam.
When I raised them by that age their tail feathers were sticking straight up and usually wings were already dropped down.
I'm with @Gray Farms if had to take a shot in the dark I'd guess OEGB.

It's a little hard to tell at this age. Post pics of the whole body and comb at six weeks. Then we can tell the gender and the breed.
