What breed is this big boy?

So Sunday afternoon I got a new member of the flock, a rooster, let's just say he's the most sweetest, docile rooster I've ever had (since this is my first rooster). I was told that he is only five months old, i was also told he was in a cage for most of his life, not seeing no weather, not experiencing the lavish life. He's our big roo.
