Unfortunately, I can't tell much more about the color than what you said:
I agree that he will have some amount of buff (or gold or red or brown) in his coloring. He will also have some black in his coloring. The arrangement of colors will probably not match what a Buff Brahma is supposed to have.He’ll definitely have buff on him.
I think it is a pea comb, like the combs on several other birds that were posted later in the thread. In addition to the central part standing up (looks like a single comb), I'm pretty sure I see a section sticking sidways toward the camera, which makes me assume there is a third section facing away from the camera too.Does that rooster have a single comb?
