We got here from our pastor's neighbor... fully grown and laying. Oh, now I see. I just looked up a pic of a New Hampshire Red. They all look kind of different, so makes sense. Are they hybrid breeds? do they lay well?

I think New Hampshires are a selective breeding project entirely from RIR stock

Yeah, we have a lot of different breeds of chickens. Whiting True Greens, RIRs, Buff Orpington, Golden Wyandottes, Anconas, Black stars, Barred Rocks, White Leghorns, Black Cochin, and now I know it is a NHR. But this is our first time, and we will breed them but only a few of the breeds! Not so many roosters for each breed!
