Hello there and welcome to BYC!

I am not that good with chicken ID. You might want to post this in our What Breed section for lots of good help....

Very pretty birds you have! Enjoy both of these cutie pies and welcome to our flock!

Hi Luckycluck 6. I am no expert and I am confused by your picture. At first glance it looks like an Easter Egger
but I am looking at the legs and they appear to have feathers down to the feet. There isn't a lot of chickens that have that characteristic. Some are cochins, langshans and brahamas but I don't believe your bird is any of these. Possibly a cross breed? As far as I know Easter Eggers don't have feathered legs. I hope someone more experienced that a novice like me can help you identify your bird.

Welcome to BYC!! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I agree with chickenhound. That looks like a mixed breed. I would have guessed EE also but those feathered feet threw me off. X2 on the breed and gender section. Two Crows has left you with the link.

I have no idea about breeds, but wanted to say that your brown chicken is one of the prettiest birds I have ever seen! I just love her coloring - the way she starts out creamy tan and feathers down to the dark. Just gorgeous!

What beautiful chickens! The browny one is amazing, love the barring on her wings and her comb looks black!

Chester is a definitely a cross breed hen. Based on her distinctive black comb and feather pattern, I'm thinking that she might be a Sumatra x Gold Partridge Cochin cross.
