What breed is this cockerel

He came from Murray Mcmurray hatchery. They don’t sell any chickens labeled “Easter Eggers” but could he be the Whiting True Blue?

Wyandotte, maybe? Because of the comb & yellow legs. AlthoughI don’t see lacing, so maybe not.

I looked thru mcmurray's listings and this looks like what they list as a Dark Cornish. I'd never heard of that so I looked it up and here's best info I could find -

He looks to possibly be a rose comb brown leghorn offered by McMurray, although not currently available.

It looks like he has a modified pea comb (one parent gave the pea comb gene, the other parent gave the not-pea gene.)

That means he is not a Wyandotte (would have rose comb.)
He is not a Brown Leghorn (would have single comb or rose comb.)
Should not be a Dark Cornish (should have a proper pea comb, with 2 copies of the gene making it small and tidy. The body shape is a bit wrong as well.)

I don't think he's quite right for anything McMurray sells, but these would be the most likely options:

If he was a "mystery chick," I wonder if they are starting to breed Olive Eggers? A cross of Welsummer with their "Ameraucana" could easily produce a bird who looks like him. If they are just starting a flock, they might be sending some out as mystery chicks but not yet listing them for sale as a specific breed.

McMurray's mixed color Ameraucanas are in fact Easter eggers, and that's what he is. True Ameraucanas will always be listed by color variety, and McMurray's does list blue Ameraucanas, which should be the real thing.

He does not look like the Dark Cornish I have that came from MMcM. I don't know what he really is.
