What breed is this. Don't care about gender

This little 3-4 week old was picked out of a bin with hoover hatchery colored layer mix. I have no idea what Whoodie is. No distinctive fuzzy cheeks like the blue bell egger. Hoover hatcheries list "You may receive any of the following breeds in this assortment: Americana, Olive Egger, Prairie Bluebell Egger™, Sapphire Olive Egger™, Starlight Green Egger™, Midnight Majesty Marans™, French Black Copper Marans, or Cuckoo Marans."

Could it be a legbar? They have single combs I believe, they also get partial crests tho

I think olive eggers can get interesting patterns 🤔 I may be wrong on this but I don't think they have beards either. Also not sure but I think this is what a more wild type chicken looks like before they molt if that helps

I'll just find out when I do I guess. Yeah Olive Eggers don't have da fuzz. But there chicks don't look like what Whoodie looked like so I'm not sure

Yeah I suppose so but someone else might know. I do have to say that in the third picture, her head look suspiciously crested even though it shouldn't be

She might be a roo. But I'm waiting on it. Not as red as it should be. But earlier I had a rir roo from the same store same hatchery. I wonder if they have a new
Vent sexer that sucks at there job. Whoodie has similar, needy and loud behaviors like the Rir. I hate going through the sadness of rehoming a roo I love and am attached to. My city will never change its rooster ordinance. But I see square hackle feathers instead of pointed and no saddle or rooster tail feathers.

The various designer "egger" chickens aren't really standardized into named colors and breed standards. Their defining feature is their colored eggs.

She's not a Marans because she doesn't match the color pattern for any Marans variety.

She's not a Sapphire because she's not blue.

You'll have the best chance of figuring out what sort of egger she is when you see what color she lays.
