What breed is this guy?

Any ideas? He is probably 8 months old in the bottom 2 photos. If pics are not good enough will try and get some better. Appreciate the help. Thanks

They are all mixed breeds. They have the look of a game mixed with a dual purpose chicken breed.

However due to the presence of small crests on him and least one hen it is hard to guess what the mix might be. Could be a Toppy game mixed with sex link or almost any dual purpose breed.

Other possibilites might be cross with Swedish flower hen(small crests are common in these) if they are present in your area.. if the girls lay colored eggs, could be Cream Legbar mixes instead of game mixes.

Thanks. The pullet is definitely a Cream Legbar mix and lays olive eggs. The cockerel was dark charcoal grey as a chick.

He's very pretty. I'm a sucker for red and blue!

He's mixed enough no specific breed jumps out. My first thought was some Marans blood, but they have white skin that's dominant and your boy has nice yellow legs, with no feathering. And I have no idea where those white earlobes came from, as he really doesn't look light bodied enough to have Mediterranean blood.

thanks all for your input. He is a very good boy so far, alerts for predators and calls his girls for tidbits he has found. I have some eggs incubating that he is the father of, with pure cream leg bar as mama.

I thought I saw a slight trace of barring on that one pullet's tail(most obvious in last picture). Almost went with cream legbar as primary guess but then games and game mixes are so so so common it was the default guess.

It explains perfectly many of the things about the rooster- his tiny crest, white lobes, the "light build crossed to heavier build" look etc.

The final clincher for legbar blood could be if his daughters out of white or tan egger hens lay colored eggs. Roosters do carry and pass on the gene responsible for blue/green eggs.

Still not easy to guess what the other part of mix could be though, especially for a dual purpose type with blue plus yellow legs. It's possible for legbar mixed with game- blue and yellow legs are common enough... just he is slightly heavy..
