What breed is this hen?

Hey thanks for looking.
This hen is approx 5 years old. She has thicker legs than her flock mates of a similar age. She stands shorter, too. Now that I think about it, I've never seen her in the nest boxes. Don't know if she lays so I couldn't tell you egg color. We get pale brown eggs from her flock mates (and maybe from her too..?).

My guess is dark Cornish? But I just don't know. Wondering if anyone can confirm that guess or suggest something else. Thank you!

My first thought was a Partridge Rock or simply a mix.

Dark Cornish would have a pea comb.

True, most of them have yellow shanks, but some have darker shades mixed in and don't have consistent yellow scaling on their legs and feet. Just like most breeds, not all birds will entirely meet the breed description or standards.

Partridge Plymouth Rock, most likely. My hatchery Partridge Rock doesn't have yellow legs either.

I am so familiar with that truth; that not all birds meet the standard. I have been breeding Show Partridge Plymouth Rocks
