What breed is this hen?

Here is a Ancona. Some resemblance when you have no idea what breed but definitely not the hen aboves breed. She is a Mottled Java for sure.

It seems to me that the Ancona is more black with white specks, and the Java is a mix of black and white. I haven't had experience with either but that's just what I noticed

I agree completely. They also have a skinny head and can have large white ears.
