I refuse to believe that the OP's bird kinda looks like a black tailed red bird. Guess I am just not seeing it.

Yeah, I don't think so either. If she was sold as a BSL, it's likely that she is not pure to begin with. Probably a BA cross.

No, I don't think so, either. She has dark eyes, for one thing, and that's an indication of Australorp. And black sex links lay darker brown eggs while Australorps can lay lighter ones. She looks nice and healthy.
