She has a bit of red ticking by her face, and some shafting at the breast, so I thought possibly a mix. But she could very well be a hatchery Australorp.Rhode Island Reds are red.

ya, because of her dark brown eyes her name is black-eyed-susan!No, I don't think so, either. She has dark eyes, for one thing, and that's an indication of Australorp. And black sex links lay darker brown eggs while Australorps can lay lighter ones. She looks nice and healthy.
I don't know I got her from a friend. but i know buys her chicks from McMurray hatchery.Missed the leakage. She could be a black sexlink. Probably not a hatchery one though.
