what breed is this mama hen i was given?

I had to give the Mama away bc she was super aggressive. She started laying about a week after she left. I haven't heard from her owners if she has gone broody again. I still have 3 of her 5 girls and they are really nervous, flighty birds.

Broody hens are supposed to be aggressive in order to protect their babies.

She was toward my kids, so I had to protect my babies.

Any momma hen with babies will be aggressive while they are protecting their babies but usually go back to being calm little ladies as soon as the chicks are older. Best to just keep kids away when they have babies,
