My mother gave me a roo...he looks like the type portrayed in the "country decorum" on wall hangings, china, etc.

What breed is that?

Someone told me that was an english fighting type.

My bird is actually not aggressive. Does not like to be caught, but once he is, he does not fight to get loose.

It Looks like a red jungle fowl although other breeds carry similiar color patterns..
