What Breed is This Pullet?

Thank you, Chris. I'm not familiar with Blue fowl. Just any blue colored bird or is that a breed?

Blue Fowl meaning any breed of chicken that is Blue in color.


If you would breed your bird/s to a Light Sussex and there offspring come out with either Blue Hackles/Tails or some of the offspring have Blue Hackles/Tails and some have very light colored Hackles/Tales then you know that there not true Coronation Sussex.

Now if all the offspring has Black Hackles/Tails from the above breeding then you most likely have a true Coronation.

I think it's a.leghorn. I have one in my coop. They lay brown eggs and a re a little temperamental...

I think you are right. Unfortunately, my "pullet" was in fact, a roo and had to be but he is a handsome fellow nonetheless.
