Thanks for the feedback! I'm still hoping for Cuckoo Marans, but she/he could totally be a mix. I have an Olive Egger roo (his parents were a Cuckoo Marans/Cream Legbar mix) and little Phoebe looks just like he did when he was a baby. I'm just hoping she's a pullet and not a roo (but I'll make it work if Phoebe turns out to be Frazier ). Here are some pictures of her I took over the past few days. If she is a feed store chick, she'd be two weeks old either today or tomorrow.

Update on the rescue chick!

I'm now calling him/her Frankie (because it works for both boys and girls). Ugh. I usually know if my baby chickens are boys or girls by two weeks (the boys stand out due to their behavior), but little Frankie keeps me guessing (maybe because the only other chick with him/her is Charlotte and she's a Black Sex Link and I don't have a variety to compare against).

Anyways, I created a new thread to see if anyone wants to take a guess, but I thought I'd share his/her latest photos (taken today) with you guys.

ALSO - The verdict was that Frankie was a Cuckoo Marans, but the white on his/her legs and beak has turned yellow. I'm guessing that means he/she is a mix and not a purebred Cuckoo Marans???
