What breed is this? Roo?

I have an unidentified 5 week old chick and as many do, I’m hoping it’s not a roo. I know nothing about black maran but I’m guessing this might be one? It’s bigger then my other chicks I got and I feel like it might have been older then them because it feathered earlier then the rest. It, also, seems to be getting feathers on its legs.

Definitely a cockerel. Full body pics will be helpful in determining what breed he is. Leg color, feathering, etc will help give clues!

He is and I want to keep him if I can. If he's too much for my current sweet roo or gets aggressive with my kids, my BFF who wants to start a new flock said she would take him.
