What breed is this rooster?

Hey everyone! We just rescued this rooster (yeah I thought it was a hen but he has spurs). Does anyone know what kind it is? Was thinking lavender Orpington but honestly I’m not sure. Thanks

It looks like a blue Andalusian.
That is not a rooster though. It's a hen. Hens can have spurs too.

OH MY GOD Thank you!!! I never knew hens can have spurs but I looked it up and yep they can. The breed matches too. So happy I’ll be able to keep her!

I agree with others! The misconception that only roosters have spurs is very prevalent, but entirely wrong!

Definitely a hen, our Blue Andalusian hen had spurs as well.

Blue Andalusian hen. Hens can have spurs and you’re lucky because I love that breed and wish I could have some. Wishing your HEN a wonderful, happy and healthy life!
