What breed is this rooster?

I have looked and looked everywhere, and can't seem to figure out what he is. A blogger online had one like him, and no one could tell her what he was either. He was free from a friend as a chick. I'd like to know what kind of babies I can get out of him.

He looks like a barnyard mix to me. Handsome bird!

I agree--barnyard mix. You might want to examine his comb though, it appears the tips of his serration (the points on the comb) are black, which can just be a bit of dead skin (which is fine) or frostbite.

I have rooster just like him who made babies with a golden looking dominique hen of mine,and yes he made some beautiful chicks.
