Whoops, yeah, just realized it wasn't a rose comb, so not a Wyandotte. I'm thinking a cross between two breeds of the plumage types I mentioned, which could lead to the comb type it has; it looks like a dubbed single comb to me.when I hear hoofbeats, I think horses, not zebras. The translation to chicken breeds is I think common breeds before rare, difficult to find breeds. I'm thinking it's a mixed breed rooster with a barred parent. The barred parent could be either a Rock or a Dominique. It really doesn't look like a rose comb to me, more like a straight comb that got frostbitten. Plus the body style doesn't look either Dominique or Wyandotte to me.....I'm thinking your typical bsl or mixed breed rooster with a damaged comb.
