I have to disagree a bit ...... and agree at the same time. New Hampshire is possible if he came from a hatchery (normally low quailty) but its doubtful. But I would say Production Red.....There is no way to be sure...the only other option is a Production Red with some BO mised in.......


And PS
Hew Hampshire (breed standard) have almost monochrome coloration and yellow in the neck, this rooster is many different shades of red and orange and a solid neck color....NOT a NH

He's a New Hampshire. About 98% of all New Hampshires out there are poor quality hatchery type production birds, so they do indeed vary.

by the way - No "red" in the name.

That's something hatcheries made up.
