what breed is this tom?

can you tell what breed this Tom turkey is? I wish the pic showed his whole body, sorry. He is supposedly 30-40 lbs and a year old.

If he is 30 to 40 lbs at 1 year he is a BB bronze.

Yes its possible but you would have to go by wieght they also tend to be more front heavy and dont stand up as straight.

well, I found out the owner got him from a farm/feed store as a poult last year, so he's most likely a BBB. I want a mate for my BBB hens, so I am going to pass and keep looking for a smaller tom. I have responded about a Narrangansett tom - hopefully he's still available

Yup that is a bronze.

would need a another picture that is farther away to tell.

As far as weights if he is 40+ lbs at a year more then likely he is a BB bronze.

Our Wishard Bronze tom is 30+ lbs and he is only 11months old,
