I have a daily visit from a chicken who seems to love bathing in the dirt hole it has dug out. Can anyone tell me about this chicken? Sex / breed?? I am going to capture it and give it to my nephew who has chickens. I live in a subdivision with only one way in and out and I have no clue where this chicken comes from. I think that it could possibly be a mix of a Crested Cream Legbar and Easter Egger?

Agreed... its a cross, that includes cream legbar. This chicken probably lays blue or green eggs.

Pullet/hen. Looks very similar to my Silkie x Easter Egger pullet. C496FAF7-42B6-4B1B-8290-869F14B7D092.jpeg

The only reason I don't think its a silkie cross is because it doesn't have black skin and has a single comb, rather than a silkie walnut comb... which I believe is a dominant gene.

I would be very careful about capturing it and putting it with other chickens. It is most likely the other chickens will beat the new comer up and maybe even kill it!
