I wouldn't be too quick to judge the melanisation in the face and comb as indication of Silkie ancestry. Silkies have many other dominant traits that identify them as such; crest, fifth toe, pea comb and rose comb are all dominant traits and I would expect to see at least some of these in a cross. I agree with the others who judge him to be a d'uccle.
