We found it back in October hiding underneath our car. We had asked neighbors if it belonged to them seeing as how they have chickens of their own, but they said it wasn't. I even posted on Facebook lost and found pets to see if anybody was missing a chicken. Nobody replied. Upon capturing the chicken we had noticed that it had what looked like a stick stuck in its beak, it was bloody. So we took it in and cleaned it up. We have kept the chicken since October last year. I never really thought of finding out what breed it is. I did think it was a mix of some sort since it looked different. This chicken does tend to be a little aggressive. It'll try to peck you if you try to pet it sometimes.

I wouldn't call pecking aggressive, unless its painful.

I agree with the mixed breed assessment. Have you gotten her any companions yet? or does she live alone? She may need friends, since chickens are flock animals that are very social.
