what breed is this?

Can anyone tell me what breed this chicken is, and if its a hen or a roo.
It was suppose to be a black-sex link hen.

I don't think sexlinks have black feet and legs, but Australorps do. Hmm, hard for me to say, but I do think maybe they put another breed in there. Sexlinks are black with some brown/gold around the neck area. Go to this site and find the picture of those two breeds in Raising Chicks.

I have a pair of black sex links and their legs started out pretty dark like that and since they are into their second year of laying, have very pale grey legs now. It could be a sex link still. I would say female.

ususally if the feathers are rounded at the end then they are hens and if they are more pointed then a roo. also you can hold it on it's back for a lottle while and if it keeps kicking then it is a roo, but if it kicks for a few seconds then stops then it is a hen.

Hey, chickens^^ , I never heard the 'holding on its back for kicking time' to determine roo vs hen!!

My Black Sex-links do not have dark legs, they are normal chicken flesh colored.

Black sex links have yellow legs. Thats an Australorp chick IMO.
