Hello! I just inherited this bird that is supposedly an Easter egger, and while I know next to zilch about chickens, I'm not sure...I thought the eggs are supposed to be light? If anyone recognizes this gal, let me know!

Cute little easter egger, who lays brown. Brown eggs are beautiful too.

She is an Easter Egger. As others have stated, they are mixed breeds that can lay green, blue, pink-ish, and brown eggs. There is no guarantee with EE's on egg color.

Thanks for the responses! I want to add that I am not hung up on having colored eggs, I just want to learn more about her and thought narrowing the breed down would help with that.
