Relatively hard to tell breed at this age. Most abandoned chicks are usually mixes, especially if you live in an area where there are feral populations, or male RSL chicks (which this little one isn’t).
I’m assuming that the friend does not have chickens, from which this chick could have come from.
The feathering on the feet does narrow down the breed list a bit. Does the chick have a straight comb? If so, my first guess would be a Cochin mix, but it’s still very very early to say anything confidently.
It’ll probably be more obvious at 6 weeks, or more.
Glad you were able to take the little one in, and give it proper care. It might be a good idea to search for a friend, if this one is alone right now
