What breed is this

    This guy's been hanging out at my Mom's for months. We finally caught him and I'm hoping to rehome him but might have more success if I know what he is.

    He's good size so I assume not a bantam.
    He has really yellow feet and there's alot of gold/brown in him not just black and white like most of the light brahma pics I can find.
    But that's better than nothing. Now I just hope I can find him a home.

    Yup, looks like a light Brahma, one question though.. Can they have barring? Looking closely at his hackles they're barred..

    I believe some do have it

    But yeah looks like a Light Brahma especially with the feathered feet

    Brahmas do not have barring, so I'd say he's a Brahma cross.

    I agree. Probably a LF Light Brahma and a Barred Rock as rocks are everywhere in our area and a very popular bird around here.

    Brahma cross. I do see some gold leaking through his colors. But looks mostly like a light brahma cross.
