what breed is this

Hi can anyone tell me what breed this is and what age it is and when will it start to lay please, there it is beside my 18 and half week old rir, many thanks

its a barred rock.. i have a bunch born March 28 and their combs are not that big... my roosters are greyish... so you either have a dark rooster, or a more mature hen... im not sure how big their combs get, but mine arent no where near that big. but its a barred rock.

it is lightish grey this photo was taken is shadow, really hope it is not a rooster, was not planning on having any babies, r yours laying yet??

no not yet... hate to tell you but its a rooster if its light grey. mine dont have combs like that and they are at least as big maybe bigger. if you search on here sexing barred rocks you will see pictures of the difference. hen/roo..sorry

at about 18 weeks? No crowing...? Hard to tell...I don't see any saddle or hackle feathers...

Anyone else? I am going with pullet...based on feathering...
