The lady at the store said they were speckled Sussex but they didn't look like it to me.I was also getting an Orloff vibe, that's why I wanted better pics. It would be unusual to get them from a farm store, and if that's what it is, it's not very good quality, but sometimes from hatcheries you get what you get.

Not in a cold climate. I'm in Texas. lol I take it they are a cold hardy breed. Does anyone know when the orloff's start laying? So far I have one leghorn laying regularly 11 more to go![]()
