What breed lays the biggest egg?

Most of my breeds.....I have over 18 breeds in my flock of 24....lay large eggs.
i find that my Easter Eggers, Brahmas, Wyandottes and Production reds consistently lay large to very large eggs.

This is the second time today I get to mention White Leghorns. The two I have now from Cackle Hatchery lays x-large to jumbo eggs and they haven’t taken a day off for at least a month maybe two. I’ve seen reports on here that the Golden Comets can lay very large eggs too. As for what breed holds the record for largest egg production, I don’t know.

My largest come from my EE, Welsummer and my leghorn. Usually about 80-90 g but often 100 or more.
My wyandootes are usually only around 55-65 g.

I haven't tried any of the production breeds yet. I read they don't live long? Do any of you have experience with that?
I do have a Brahma and her egg is gigantic!
So the fun thing here is that I have five different breeds. I only mentioned the Brahma because chick-n-fun mentioned it.
I think maybe once this thread craps out I'm going to post the list for easy reading.
Silver lining of the stay-at-home rule: LOTS of time to obsess over chickens because I'm getting ready to place an order 💜
