I have a sebright hen and roo I gathered her eggs in hopes that I would hatch some baby golden laced sebright's. Well the little ones looking nothing like the pictures I've seen online of them. They have feathers on their legs So I know that 2 of my other rooster must have bred her. I'm trying to figure out who it might be. One is a bantam silver laced Cochin and the other is a lavender Silkie. These guys only have 4 toes though but can a Silkie cross only have 4 toes or can it be both?

My guess would be the Cochin, silkie crosses often have crests and sometimes muffs too.

Good news, the original cross for creating the Wyandotte was a Sebright and a Cochin, so maybe your little guy will turn out to be a good layer!
