What breed might these cuties be?

Oh boy! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!
Wyandottes can be very hard to sex, but with the intensity of red on the combs, and how raised they look in profile, I'm pretty sure those are cockerels. Looks like #3 is your one pullet. It is often possible to keep bachelor pens of all males, but for it to work best, females need to be out of sight for them. You still run the risk of them fighting. I don't mind if other people eat my extra cockerels, as long as they have a good, albeit shorter, life. I just can't bring myself to do the deed, too wimpy, and neither can any one else around here.
Next time you are picking young chicks, avoid any that have bright red combs. Peachy pink usually means pullet, but only reliable after 6-8 weeks or so when the males start reddening up. Pullets never go red until closer to when they start laying, usually after 14 weeks.

oh man.... you know what is funny? They are all very fiesty but the one female BIT me today when I was reaching in to get her! out of all of them! I raised barred rocks and RIR from chicks and they were all extremely well tempered and still are! I am new to this breed though and apparently chicken raising as a whole...so much to learn still.

I've only had 2 Wyandottes, both hatchery chicks. The SLW ended up getting named Grumpus, so you can guess her temperament. The one I have now is a blue Wynadotte, and she is already on her second broody episode this year. Other broodies let me check underneath them for eggs, but Miss Blue bites! hard! and kind of hisses while she goes for you! She will probably be my last Wyandotte. Other than being mean, my 2 have laying very small eggs in common. At least they are pretty. Maybe one from a serious breeder would be nicer.

Have to add: A neighbor had a couple of GLWs and they had a pretty nice temperament, so hopefully that will be true for yours.
