What breed of bantam chicks do we have?

šŸ¤”...
Is that a lightly feathered leg..?
Are they less than 10 days old?

Well... they don't look like cochin bantams or dutch bantams šŸ˜†

When I think if gray bantams, I think of Old English... but they have clean legs.

Maybe booted or lavender..?
Gosh, I wish I could be more help.
They are really pretty birds.

@TheOddOneOut and @Gray Farms identify breeds with amazing skill-- I bet they

They are said to have hatched around July 19th, which definitely surprises us because of how small they still are!
Our polish chickens were even bigger than these ones at a month old!

What comb types do they have?
What egg color did they hatch out of?
Sadly we have no idea what the hen that laid these is like, nor do we know the egg color or anything like that.
We were given these from a lady that purchased them from an amish farm site and couldn’t take care of them.
Here is a picture of ones comb!
The second photo shows the feathers along the ones legs, which is why doing research we thought it was a booted bantam, but in the third picture the other chick (that has a black marking on its beak) has little to no leg feathers at all!

maybe a sebright or old english mixed with some feather footed bantam
From what we were told when given the chicks, they were a purebred ā€œmini bantamā€, though now we are questioning that of corse.
We are hoping it is a purebred of some sort like they said so we could possibly show them for 4H down the road.

Maybe Seramas? They are known for being tiny, and come in lots of different colors. They have single combs, too.

Google tells me seramas occasionally have some feathers on the legs (not supposed to, but occasionally do.)

Can you get a photo of their combs?

Brahmas (light or dark) would have shades of gray, and feathered legs, and pea combs.

That's an odd amount of feathering to have on the legs. Breeds that are supposed to have feathered legs usually have more, and clean-legged breeds of course have none.

They might be a cross, rather than any pure breed. Someone could have gotten bantams of several kinds and let them cross, and all the chicks would still be bantams (= small), but not any specific breed of bantam.
Just uploaded some more photos! One of the chicks does not have many leg feathers yet and one keeps getting more & more. The feather color is almost starting to look a bit creamy gray/tan on their heads.
