What breed of hen should I get?!

I already have a flock of three but I'm looking to add one more hen but I want one that's friendly, good layer, bigger breed, pretty. I was thinking silkies, Rhode Island reds, or barred rocks. Please help me choose a awesome breed. If you choose the breed and I end up getting one I'll let you name it!

what breeds do you already have?

I'd say a no go on the silkies, they're cute and friendly but small and not great layers. With a small flock of hens only, I'm usually thinking you're not going to want to be brooding a bunch of chicks, so I'd pass on her.

I'm always a fan of barred Rocks, but of you don't have an Easter egger, that's the breed to go with! Nothing sets off the other egg colors like a blue or green egg in the basket!

If it were me, I would pick Easter Eggers. No two EE's look alike, they lay beautiful eggs, and they're usually very sweet birds.

EE would be my choice too. Also a Silkie may not transition very smoothly into an existing flock and may be picked at.
