Can anyone tell me what breed this hen is? She is 5 months old.

Looks like a speckled sussex to me!! Pretty hen!!

I sure appreciate your information. She is such a good hen, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what she was. I ordered her from Mcmurray, but when i ordered i got a special assortment, so I had to guess at all 25 of them. Do you think she looks like an anconas?

It's hard to tell from the picture. Is she brown with white speckles or black with white speckles? What color are her legs? A straight side on shot without too much light reflecting on her would be best.

Leg color can help. She's not a Speckled Sussex, are her earlobes white or red?

She is all black with white spots, she has no brown on her. Her feet are pale yellow with a lot of black on them. She hasn't laid any eggs yet so that won't be any help.
