What breed of Roo is this?

Need some help deciding, I thought he was one thing then I looked at some pictures now I'm thinking he is another breed all together. He is 6 months old.

So, is the difference between a Brown Leghorn and a Welsummer, in this case, the white earlobes and yellow legs? How do you tell this apart from a rooster of the various similar looking breeds? (Yeah, I could look it up, and will sometime, but it seems a handy opportunity to ask right now, if anyone replies).

Leghorn vs Welsummer---

same basic coloring, that's what throws folks off a lot.
Easiest, quickest way to tell the two is the white earlobes on the Leghorn.
Leghorns are also much lighter built, leaner and smaller. I don't know the SOP on each bird right off, but I'll bet even a hatchery Wellie roo is a good 2lbs or more larger than a hatchery leghorn roo.

Yes, he's a Light Brown Leghorn. Welsummers would have red earlobes, and would be a bit larger/heavier/stockier in build.

Ah yeah, I see. Thanks for the info. It does get confusing sometimes, so many similar breeds.
