Definately an EE as others have said...it's a real shame that hatcheries do that...I think it is kindof scamy on their part...especially for those of us that A. Cannot have roosters, and B. expect to actually get a rare BREED, which EEs are not.
He is absolutely lovely though, and would love some blue egg laying ladies of his own!
I can't wait to breed him to some of his own kind. I'm hoping to get the pattern on his chest to pass onto his offspring. btw anybody know what kind of pattern that is?
Wow- what a gorgeous EE Roo!! I love his chest feathers- I have never seen that before- they look like a cross between a lacing pattern and a spangled pattern- absolutely beautiful!
WOW, I'm bedazzled by the pattern of his breast feathers! I've never seen that before and would love to know the genetics behind it. You should breed him!
