Hi, I'm thinking of getting this kind of chicken. I don't know what kind this is, but I went to a farm and saw this chicken. It was very friendly (it was probably handled a lot as a chick, which I'm getting as a chick), and it was very beautiful. it was also the perfect size. I'm looking for a chicken exactly like this one. It let me pick it up, hold it, and stroke it. It never struggled to get out of my hands. I really liked this color, too. I fell in love with that chicken but sadly it wasn't for sale

. Does anybody know what breed this is, or if the color has a certain name? Thank you!

There's a possibility that it could be gamefowl breeding but to know you would need to talk to the person that owned it and/or bred it .
Gamefowl come in many different varieties and patterns/colors .

You might like Silver Spangled Hamburgs, in order for them to be friendly you have to hold them as chicks.

It's most likely not a gamefowl (too small), but the person who owns her doesn't know because it's hard to identify it out of all her chickens. She has at least 40 chickens so she can't really keep track, sadly.

Not sure of breed but the color is called splash. It's a chicken with 2 copies of the blue gene. Here is a splash Faverolles.

And another next to 2 dark blues.

Thank you! I got the color down, now all I need is the breed. She's a hen, if that helps.
