Can anyone help with if this is a male or female, Black Bantam Silkie?

It's far too young to sex at this point. Silkies are notoriously difficult breeds to sex until they are a couple of months old, and even then experienced chicken owners are mistaken on their gender.

Barred Rock mix, possibly a Black Sex-link.

Thank you. Up admired him at a farm we got our pigs from and this very nice man gave him to me but he didn't know what he was. He is very tall and comes up to my knee.
