what breed or mix do you think this rooster is?

he left us about a year ago when he was killed by a neighbors labrador that was allowed to roam freely through the streets.

the dog made it his goal to kill this bird and tried constantly to break into the coop for him.

back then we had EE's and the purebreds whose names escape me. dommies, barred plymouth's, orpingtons, jersey giants, turkens, silkies. he was a gift to us from a family that kept alot of exotic breeds as pets.

legs were featherless and yellow and he had fluffy cheeks.

He does look like a EE mix.

The muffs show possibly easter egger, but really nothing else does to me. I think a good old-fashioned barnyard mix.
